I was actually recommended to use Maxi Moving by a friend, who had a good experience moving with them a few years ago. I'm glad that I did since the move was extremely fast and easy. Everyone arrived on time and we were done quicker than estimated, which was great. The guys were also extremely patient and understanding while we struggled with some logistic details to get access to the building parking as well.
I've had 8 major moves in my adult life. 6 of them were ok to disastrous and one was great. The only exceptional move was Maxi Moving. From obtaining an estimate to moving day they were extraordinarily responsive, communicative and professional. They carried a 7 ft. couch down 10 flights of stairs and took incredible precaution to ensure its safety. Due to my health, this was by far the most stressful move of my life, but Maxi Moving made the physically moving part of the process the EASIEST. I highly recommend them to you and anyone you know that are moving. My friend had recommended them to me, which is how I heard of them. She also had an exceptional experience. I never want to move or see another moving box in my life, but if I have to, I will be calling Maxi Moving and know that I'll be in good hands!

Their video inventory platform—unlike some companies that require you to make a list yourself—made it easy to communicate what needed to be moved so that they could prepare a quote. Highly recommend Maxi Moving. I am very satisfied with the experience. I telephoned the company and I was asked to describe what needed to be moved. They provided me with a written estimate of the cost and it was very reasonable. They also provide you with an estimate of how much time the move will take and how much it would cost if additional time was required.On the day schedule for the move, the movers showed up exactly on time. The movers were extremely professional, they took great care in wrapping things and taking them out of the house and loading it on the truck. At the new location they put everything where we asked them to and assembled what needed to be assembled. It took a little longer in time than the estimate but again it was very reasonable charge. Expect to pay for any tolls involved and for packing material. But as I mentioned earlier it was all discussed upfront and there were no surprises at all at the end.

They took great care with our valuable items especially our very heavy marble dining table. Although the move took over 10 hours (we did have one stop at a storage unit) we were extremely happy that they took such great care of our things. We used Maxi Moving on a very difficult (for us) move. I have a large research library. I had to get it off the shelves and packed up (ended up being over 40 large boxes) without damaging the books. Many were art books, books of all shapes and sizes, and so forthWell, turns our Maxi staff received in-depth classes on just this situation. They came in and very quickly but carefully and diligently packed up all the books into boxes.Came back next day to take them up to my newly rented storage facility. Maxi Moving was quick to respond to my inquiry. An employee named Henry answered all my questions and built great rapport. I later scheduled my moving date and went with the pre-packaging option, given that I haven't been to my apartment since the pandemic started. I also wasn't able to be at my apartment the day of moving, which was not a problem. They did an awesome job and packed all of my belongings in a neat manner and were very accommodating. They also were very affordable and even with the pre-packaging option, were cheaper than other moves I have taken part of. I would definitely recommend Maxi Moving to friends around the NY area.

I normally don't write reviews, but I just want to share my positive experience. These guys were great. They were very careful with the furniture and my piano. They came prepared with all the necessary tools and equipment to protect the piano and floors. They took their time and were very careful in moving the piano to the new location, including up a few flights of stairs. I will use Maxi Moving again and again! Maxi Moving should be the only movers you consider if you love your piano. I can't express how appreciative we are for everything that you guys did for us!I want to publicly thank Ivan and his crew for their excellent work.THANK YOU SO MUCH!
